The Consortium is in its founding year. The events below represent our first chapter — real programs with real communities, building the credibility and relationships that a unified Hindu American platform requires. More will be added as we grow.
Interfaith
Festivals of Light: Diwali & Chanukah
A landmark interfaith gathering bringing together Hindu and Jewish communities to celebrate Diwali and Chanukah exploring the shared themes of light, hope, and spiritual renewal across two ancient traditions. Held at Olam Tikvah synagogue in Fairfax, Virginia, the event featured dialogue, shared ritual, and community fellowship.

Civic engagement
From Identity to Impact: Summer Civic Institute
A multi-day civic leadership program for high school and undergraduate students, exploring how minority communities organize for political power — drawing on case studies from Maharashtra and Minneapolis to understand fragmentation, unity, and effective civic engagement. Featured a capstone presentation to prominent community speakers.

VHP Youth Summer Camp: Dharma & Leadership
A residential youth camp combining dharmic education with civic and leadership development giving young Hindu Americans the roots to understand their tradition and the wings to lead in American public life. Coordinated in partnership with the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America’s youth programs.
